Temperature & Relative Humidity Sensor Modules

HopeRF's digital Relative Humidity (RH) and temperature sensors incorporate monolithic CMOS ICs that integrate temperature and humidity sensor elements, analoueg-to-digital converters, signal processors, calibration data and an I2C interface.

HopeRF's patented use of industry-standard, low-K polymeric dielectrics for sensing humidity enables lower cost while ensuring high accuracy and long-term reliability. Both the temperature and humidity sensors are factory-calibrated and the calibration data is stored in the on-chip non-volatile memory, ensuring that the sensors are fully interchangeable, with no re-calibration or software changes required.

Programmable Barometer/Altimeter Modules

HopeRF's 24-bit barometric sensors employ MEMS pressure sensors with an I2C interface to provide accurate temperature, pressure or altitude data. The pressure and temperature outputs are digitised by a high resolution 24-bit ADC, with the altitude calculated by a patented algorithm based on the pressure and temperature data; with processing done on-board to save the need for external MCU processing. Pressure can be resolved to fractions of a Pascal, with altitude accurate to 0.01 meter.
